چکیده
Abstract Background Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) increased risk of perinatal complications for both the women and fetuses. The association between vitamin D receptor (VDR) gene polymorphism GDM has not been thoroughly investigated in Chinese pregnant women. Therefore, we aimed to determine whether VDR single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) rs154410, rs7975232, rs731236, rs2228570 rs739837 contribute Wuhan, China. Moreover, explore their combined effects on GDM. Methods Pregnant who had prenatal examinations at 24 28 weeks’ gestation our hospital from January 15, 2018 March 31, 2019 were included this case-control study. After exclusion, a total 1684 (826 patients 858 non-diabetic controls) recruited. clinical information blood samples collected by trained interviewers nurses. Genotyping candidate SNPs was conducted Sequenom MassARRAY platform. Statistical analyses including t-test, ANOVA, chi-square test logistic regression performed data with SPSS Software evaluate differences genotype distribution associations risk. Multifactor dimensionality reduction method used gene-gene interactions Results Differences age, pre-pregnancy BMI, family history previous case control groups statistically significant ( P < 0.05), whereas no found height, gravidity, parity, age menarche > 0.05). There distributions examined adjusting diabetes, results analysis showed five all four models( Furthermore, there among SNPs. Conclusions neither nor

متن کاملAssociation of vitamin D receptor gene polymorphisms with susceptibility to asthma in Tunisian children: A case control study.
BACKGROUND Vitamin D and its nuclear receptor (VDR) are linked to asthma in a genetic and immunologic basis. Polymorphisms in the VDR gene may alter the actions of vitamin D and then influence the development and the severity of asthma. AIMS We aimed at elucidating the genetic association of VDR gene polymorphisms with susceptibility to asthma in Tunisian children and with serum vitamin D lev...
